Brand New Indie Horror Magazine POPCORN HORROR to launch tomorrow!

The horror genre has a proud history of publications dedicated to its art, and as of tomorrow, horror fans like you and I will have a brand new digital magazine to religiously read.

Popcorn Horror is a digital magazine dedicated to all aspects of Independent Horror, like the films themselves, shorts, podcasts, litteriture and more. I am also pleased to officially confirm that Yours Truly will be involved in the publication by providing the kind if unbiased articles and commentary that readers of this blog have become accustomed to.

The guys at Popcorn Horror have released the following press release:

Popcorn Horror’s digital horror magazine is available online from the 10th June 2016. The magazine features exclusive content, interviews, features, columns, art and more from the indie horror scene. Popcorn Horror is making the launch issue available using a Pay What You Want System.

Geared towards horror fans of all ages, the magazine will offer a varied range of content from all areas of independent horror. It aims to be an engaging, creative and fresh way of bringing awesome grassroots horror directly to fans.

In order to give horror fans a feel for the magazine, the first issue will be available through popcornhorror.com using a Pay What You Want system. Fans are encouraged to pay a fair amount in order to help support the magazine – and Popcorn Horror’s work in promoting indie horror – but those unable to pay can still access the magazine for free. A share on social media or recommending to a friend is very much appreciated though!

The jam-packed first issue offers a range of great horror content. There’s an exclusive interview and feature on ‘UNEARTHED & UNTOLD’ – the fan made Pet Sematary documentary. An interview with theatrical horror/scamp-rock band FABLE CRY is also in store, along with an indie director’s advice on achieving large crowdfunding goals. Which streaming service is best for horror fans? What are the best new horror podcasts? What are the 13 best new indie shorts? Find out inside!

The magazine will be a bi-monthly feature, with great content and advertising opportunities planned for upcoming editions.

Popcorn Horror have been active supporters of independent horror for almost five years, and look forward to branching out into digital magazine publishing.

The first issue will be provided on a "pay what you like" basis, meaning that horror fans can pay the creators as much or as little as they see fit, or even take the issue free of charge meaning that you can sample the publication without risking a pennny.
